Very nice envelopes...Pros:* These economy envelopes are priced to sell.* Bright white (My guess would be 96 brightness when laid side by side to the various printer paper I own which range from 92-100 brightness rated.)* Envelope paper weight is about 24 lb.Cons:* NoneComments:* These envelopes are sold as an economy product. They're not sold as an invitation envelope that's made of cotton weave with a 100 brightness (which would cost twice as much or more), and nor are they advertised as any type of security envelope.Paper was used for Envelope Brightness Test:* The paper & envelope brightness test was conducted using 92-100 brightness paper outdoors in sunlight with a gray card and a digital camera, and analyzed by two other family members until all three of us were in agreement with the envelope brightness which was done by assigning an arbitrary code to each of the known paper brightnesses used in the test. When we were in agreement with our best opinion, the paper brightness we chose was turned over to reveal the code number assigned to it. The code number was then decoded by the child next door whom I asked to control the test, e.g.: Code A paper could have been brightness 98, and so on. It was a fun couple hours for all.Additional Fun:* Children will have fun putting theirstamps and stickies on the envelopes so they can mail their crayon art, and home made cards to MomMom & PopPop. Of course, the real postage stamp will be up to mom.* Crafters can certainly take decorating envelopes to a high level of beauty too by taking the kids to the kitchen table and have some time together decorating the envelopes and cards as a family project. More importantly, you'll be creating memories that will bond and last a lifetime, and at the same time giving MomMom & PopPop those memories too when they display the art for all to see in the art gallery (the fridge door). Conclusion:* I highly recommend this product because it's well made, bright white, good weight, priced to sell, and suitable for all general purpose occasions. Side note: They may be sold as economy envelopes, but they appear to deserve a higher certification. However, you won't be disappointed with your purchase when bought as advertised as GP envelopes.
